At least this is what I heard my classmates dream of, but none of these were my dream. Me, I wanted to be THE Cartographer of the Earth Ward. To document the travels and work of the Earth Elemental, Pato Late.
Things you don't dream of happening often include:
- accidentally leaving your home world on a mysterious city that travels between dimensions.
- losing your oldest friend.
- ending up in a world that is connected to yours.
- being trapped in a book for eons.
- Finally getting home only to realize that you've been gone for seven thousand years, and the home you once knew has been destroyed.
